The Orbit is used to apply pressure into the general hip flexor region to target the psoas muscle, as well as the glute region to target the piriformis and deep hip rotator muscles.

1. Releasing the psoas

The psoas is accessed on the front side of the pelvis anywhere between the pelvic bone (or ilium) and the belly button.

2. Releasing the hip flexor insertion point

The psoas and iliacus muscles cross the front of the hip and insert at the inside of the femur in the upper thigh and groin area.

3. Releasing the piriformis

The piriformis is accessed on the back side of the pelvis between the sacrum and outside of the hip.

4. Releasing the deep hip rotators

The deep hip rotators are accessed on the back side of the pelvis at the base of the glute between the sit bone and outside of the hip.

Can I use the Orbit on other areas of the body?

Absolutely! Have fun experimenting. Other areas where it may be nice to use the Orbit include the quads, hamstrings, lats, and back.
